Description
The A9Q is the result of the continuous development of our A9 drive.
Using a special winding method and precisely arranged coils, we have achieved a travel speed of 70 mm/s while maintaining the same system performance. In terms of safety, we have been able to significantly optimise two further aspects. By improving the conical end, any accidental release caused by rocking can be prevented to the greatest possible extent. A considerable advancement has equally been made in relation to the collision detection feature. Adjustments made to the FSR sensor have resulted in significantly improved detection behaviour, which can even be set at five different sensitivity levels with the new Kesseböhmer Control Basic and Control Advance units. The A9Q is suitable for all desk columns and works with all control units. And best of all, the drive system is backward-compatible with all control units made from January 2017 onwards.

Description
The special feature on the DMD660 is the intelligent column with BLDC motor. This brushless motor has a more compact design and requires considerably less maintenance. It is also more energy-efficient and incredibly powerful. The control unit is integrated in the column, making it no longer visible. It is connected to the power supply mounted beneath the desktop, now a much smaller box.
Our DMD660 drive system not only features an internally installed motor, but also has integrated collision detection to provide the necessary safety. In addition, it is very quiet and guarantees a fast travel speed of 43 mm/s when bearing loads of up to 100 kg.
